Jeff and I were chatting there last night. Jeff discovered a nice world. It was pretty cool with great music. The world is called "NCI Kuula" and it's for n00bs. You can just type that into the browser and you can select it - just like in Google Chrome.

Jeff's handle is Mopar70. Mine is WildBill Hiccup. Justen's is Justen Cassidy.

SL's interface is fragmented at best and cryptic at worst. To search for anyplace or anyone, click World > Search. If you go in and find that it's acceptable, search for us and Friend us please. We can hopefully help each other figure this thing out.

It's been a real pleasure gathering this list. I feel bad about dropping off back in '97 and '98. I was working second shift the entire time and I was dealing with depression then as well. There are other worlds too that are less intense CPU-wise. SecondLife just offers a lot and anyone can build on the spot (that they rent) from within the browser.

There.com is easier on the CPU , has way better transportation like buggies and hoverbikes and game structure is more defined but building from scratch is difficult and graphics are not as good. It also is a mandatory fee where 2ndLife is free to walk around in.

I have been to others as well but those are the biggies.

Sorry I am a little scarce this week. As I mentioned we are rebuilding our home office and it's kinda got us consumed.
